MONACO (Principality of Monaco), 3 December 2012 – For third year in a row, the FIM celebrated the annual FIM Gala, where all the FIM World Champions were awarded by their achievements during the season. After two consecutive years celebrating the Gala at the Casino of Estoril in Portugal, the FIM changed the location and all the 2012 FIM World Champions were awarded at prestigious ‘Salle des Etoiles’ room of the Sporting Monte-Carlo. Before all the World Champions walked along the red carpet, they took part in a press conferences headed by FIM President Mr. Vito Ippolito at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel.

Hibbert regains FIM Snowcross World Title in Russia | 25 Feb
SEMIGORJE (Russia), 25 February 2012 – Russia has successfully hosted for the first time in the history of the sport the FIM Snowcross World Championship, where American Tucker Hibbert obtained his second FIM World Title. Petter Narsa was second and Adam Renheim completed the top three. The 12.000 spectators present at Semigorje Technical Centre had the great opportunity to see the best Snowcross racing in the world and they gave an unconditional support to their home rider Dmitry Sklyarov who obtained a solid 13th overall position.
